Microsoft is creating a new Microsoft Azure Exam - 70-535: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions, in order to better align the objective domains to Architecting solutions in Microsoft Azure and not the details in implementing solutions in Azure like we have today in the 70-534 exam.
This new exam will also bring changes to the current certifications that use the now old 70-534 Exam. MCSA and MCSE will start using this in the next few weeks. If you have a current MCSA/MCSE or MCSD certification that used the 70-534, your certification will still be current. I also recommend you to check the new Microsoft Azure Certification that Microsoft is releasing. Microsoft is also creating a new MOC (Microsoft Official Course) that aligns with this new exam. It will be the 20535: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions. According to the Born to Learn post it will be available in February 2018.

Microsoft will extend the retirement date
of the following SharePoint 2013 exams:
- 488: Developing SharePoint Server 2013 Core
- 489: Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013
Both of these exams should retire on March, 31, 2017, but
Microsoft extended the exams until July 31, 2018, so given or take if you haven’t
take those exams you have 1 year and 4 months more to take then. SharePoint
2013 is still highly used in companies and we don’t have any SharePoint 2016
developer exam released, so this is a wise decision by Microsoft.
BUT!!!!! Attention, this will not impact on the decision of
removing the MCSD: SharePoint Applications certification. If you still plan to
get this certification you still have only until March, 31, 2017 (so, less than
3 months) to take the 4 necessary exams.
The 488 and 489 exams are still elective exam for the new MCSD:
App Builder Certification
